Ambiente Housing Offers Affordable Hazard Resistant Housing
Las Vegas, Nevada-September 29, 2000 – Ambiente Housing Systems unveiled it's high-tech solution to the world's housing shortages this week at the CFA Exhibition, where it was competing in the CFA Housing Competition for most innovative design and best use of composite materials.
Malcolm Parrish, founder and President of Ambiente Housing Systems says, "Our initial objective was very ambitious. We wanted to make high quality permanent housing that was quick to assemble and able to withstand a hurricane or earthquake. We specifically targeted the affordable housing market because of the huge need world-wide."
Malcolm goes on to say, "Through our patented production techniques we are able to take high value materials, similar to those used in jet planes and racing cars, and make a cost effective, high performance product, in very high volumes, as fast as one house per hour."
Ambiente Housing System is a panelized modular building system made exclusively of composite materials. The structural panel system, engineered to withstand hurricane and earthquake forces, features an innovative reinforcing network of high strength glass fiber cables and a fool-proof quick assembly method for one day installation on-site. Ambiente's structural core material is comprised 70% of recycled glass which has been reprocessed into glass aggregate for superior strength, weight and insulation.
Ambiente Housing Systems currently has a House Production Plant in Puerto Rico, with plans underway for a Housing Plant and Glass Reprocessing Plant in the UK. Ambiente also has plans to enter the US Housing market next year and is currently considering offers to build plants in several other countries in South America, Europe and Asia.
